Turning Wood

TW
I've been studying pieces of turned wood as of late.  These are the Mister's Eames inspired tops. I've been trying to find a place to learn the craft even a smidge of a lesson and it seems impossible. I've inquired at Techshop and all classes are sold out. I've inquired with at least three shops where I have close friends and still nada. So I'm coming to you. Any thoughts?

Visit beautiful Orcas Island up here in Washington state and take a class at the Stables:

It's a bit pricey, but it looks like it would be a great experience!

Thanks for the suggestion. I may just do that. Looking it up now.

A friend of mine recently suggested I get a lathe. He recently started turning wood and has made a few pieces for his collection... Have you looked onto purchasing one instead?
