I couldn't be any more incredibly excited to introduce a new series of home tours. I've long been a fan and gone several years in a row to the AIASF home tours which is part of the Architecture and the City festival that happens every September but that is just but once a year and nearly all the tours are right here in San Francisco with a rare tour outside. So when I heard about the Marin tours I nearly squealed out loud. If you haven't gone to anything like this before I really highly recommend getting yourself at least a one day ticket because while the photos are incredible there really is no substitute for experiencing these spaces in person. In photos you don't experience the flow of the plan or the natural adjacencies, the scale or the materials and textures, or even how these spaces nestle into the landscape. It's an all sensory experience.
I also highly recommend it for anyone thinking of remodeling or designing their space as you can see all the materials in action and not in a catalog not to mention it brings you in close contact to several different architect's work. See the details below to nab yourself a ticket. See you there.

Do you know of anyone who wants to participate in the tour? They recently requested volunteers to take part in opening up their doors to this tour...
