I'm pretty sure one of the main reasons my mom hates on Halloween these days is she had to make all of our costumes.
I'm the cowgirl in the back there.... but don't my sisters look amazing! The best Clown and Raggedy Ann I've ever seen! I'm pretty sure my Mom made the wig too! A very talented lady to say the least.
I already have a soft spot for the ole' DK. As do a few others. But these two make it irresistable.
I'm also not one for long meetings but I could be persuaded if all meetings were now held here.... with cupcakes and coffee of course. Via Its Nice That

The welcome poster (to our wedding soiree) we placed on the front door to Serpentine. We chose Serpentine because we wanted a space that spoke of our taste style and demeanor. We could never entertain as many people as we invited in our home so we wanted a place that felt like us that acted as a stand in for our home. Clean lines, beautiful materials, a bit out of the way, not too showy or loud, and of course welcoming.

So with all the madness in my life these days almost losing my Grandma was tops. She is so dear to me.... She took me in when my parents lets say.... were not at their best behavior mid-divorce.
Funny enough it seemed she needed me and I needed her and a new bond was formed. One that we hadn't had before. I treasure those last days of high school with her. So it was the least I could do to fly out to Florida to take care of her for a week or so. She's doing oh so much better thanks and on her way to a full recovery but there were some dark moments that gripped my heart. Grandma's are supposed to live forever right?
One more reason for lack of posts...
We locked ourselves in for two weeks to get those invites out. It almost killed us. We just could not imagine doing generic invites. I'll share better photos bit later.
