Marriage License Check

Mr. J and I didn't make our appointment in time for the ceremony because well it was wide open and San Francisco City Hall recommended we wait to make the other appointment up to even a half hour before the ceremony. Needless to say when I went on their website two weeks ago they were booked solid through August 19th. (I'm guessing the approval of gay marriage might have something to do with the run on city hall) A mild panic began to ensue until we realized as long as we were having a 'public marriage' we could get the license anywhere so we crossed the bridge to Marin.

Their city hall funnily enough is a Frank Lloyd Wright building. Although I must say it is perhaps the most bizarre FLW building I have ever come across. Red, Blue and Gold was the color scheme with a circle and sphere motif throughout.
Regardless it was nice to turn that 'oops' in to an adventure.
